Not Needed Currently
Because of the lack of focus on the importance of fosters and adoptees stories historically, we are piecing together data to understand the record of life histories and harness stories well. A volunteer researcher will help gather information using the internet as a primary source.
Visual design is key to sharing our message that young people’s stories are powerful. What we see is the first impression we make and engages potential partners and the general community on who we are and why what we do matters. Power of Story is looking for a designer for both ongoing and specific current projects.
Our mission is compelling, but it also needs to sound right! Copyediting ensures grammar, syntax, and spelling are correct; the established style for Power of Story is followed; and our materials is suitable and understandable to teenagers and young adults, as well as grantmakers and contracting partners. We are looking for skilled copy editors who will whip out their red pen and edit our materials before they go out into the world.
