Lifebook: Your life is more than a file.

If you under are under 24, in Minnesota, receiving some foster care services and want a Lifebook, let your worker know or contact us.

A Lifebook with Power of Story has:

  • Photos of you and your family.
  • Insights from special people.
  • Childhood memories.
  • A list of placements and schools attended.
  • Your medical information.
  • Reasons around placement.

The farther back you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.

Your Story

A Lifebook tells the story of YOUR life before, during and after foster care.

And Photos

From baby pics to your latest selfie, we gather all photos we can of your life and share them back with you.

Led by You

Respecting your time and energy, we will touch base to see what YOU want to know about your past. Then we will do some research and meet with you again to share what we find. We can meet in person or virtually for about 1 hour each time.

With Trustworthy Staff

This isn’t our first trip around the block, we will honor your story, not judge, support you and stay up to date on the best ways to do this work.

A place to start

It takes a lifetime to understand a complicated childhood, so your book will be returned to you electronically and also in a 3-ring-binder, that you can add to as you learn more about your past and grow into your unique future.
